Don't suppose it's possible to get the 1.1 version yet, eh?
The person who was asking about a steal ability on the main character:
You can easily do this with a memory editor. The ID numbers of the spells is a 2 byte number. Pillage's ID is 211 (D3 in hex). .
01E3EC52 is the address of dash and slash. Simply change the number in at this address to 211( again, it's D3 in hex) and it will change into pillage.
01E3EC52 is the address of glidehook on lynx, too.

I just finished this one, and it looks like I'm out of ID mods to play D: (Except for FFT 1.3, which I gave up on). When can we start getting PS2 game mods? lol
My final review of this mod was it certainly made a game I used to completely hate, more fun. I had to exploit the hell out of savestates on several fights, however, because enemy damage was so absurd, even with the game's best equipment, and you only get 4 revive elements to work with. The insanity of the enemy damage made most of the playable characters not viable at all, in my opinion, which kind of sucks (not that I ever liked 30+ of them, to begin with).
I'm curious if anyone's been able to beat this mod with no save states, and not using "Diminish" on pretty much every boss in the second half of the game. The only viable strat I ever found was pretty much "Diminish" at the start, and use melee and heal elements only (with some buffs/debuffs). I missed being able to use attack elements D:

I believe the good Doctor was talking about trying to get a FFXII editor made/hex editing the game itself in order to make a mod. Ah, here it is.

I just might give this a shot, then. I have so many fucking hacks to play and anime to watch. D:

Is the 1.1 version still available? I kinda wanna beef up the difficulty more for my 4th NG+ and another go at Criosphynx with EG characters

Love the Chrono games, but I thought they were both too easy, so this and the CT patch here are really interesting to me. Thanks for taking this on!
Out of curiosity, do you have any information on what kind of changes you did? Like, was it just enemies that were altered, or characters as well..?

As a followup question, did you use that one enemy editor that (used to?) be available on romhacking.net? I remember looking at that a number of years ago, although that was when the whole... kerfuffle about that one large-scale CT romhack getting C&D'd went down and the chrono hacking community seemed to drop off the face of the earth for awhile.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, were the changes mostly dealing with stats, or were things like elemental affinities/enemy skills/status weaknesses altered as well?

With the exception of Final Fantasy VII, I don't use editors. The alterations were only to physical and magical damage output, HP, and speed.
